Stop calling

The ID of the caller was tion svce e suc when i looked the up it stated Subway. When I called back the number is was asked my name and i ask if the were a part of Subway, he stated no. Asked why when I looked up the ID called and it stated Subway, He stated that he had no idea why it related back to Subway and hung up.......

caller double checked my address and said he was from the local newspaper giving me a "too good to be true" del. not sure what to do

how can I make it stop? Is there a way to block this on my cell phone?

I recently started getting calls on my cell and I do not appreciate that nor did I give them permission to call my cell. I simply do not answer my phone when I do not know the number that is calling. I get enough of this on my land line as well.
